Join us for a special Young JW3 Friday Night Dinner for LGBTQ+ individuals across the spectrum on Valentine's Day, in partnership with Sapphic Shabbat.

Going into its third year, Sapphic Shabbat is a group that curates events for queer Jews to build new connections in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. This larger gathering will celebrate the warmth and tradition of Shabbat, offering the perfect opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friendships… or more!

The evening will also serve as a digital detox zone, giving everyone a chance to unwind and disconnect after the week.

Whether you're attending solo or with friends, come and enjoy delicious food, meaningful conversation, and a night full of joy, connection, and community.

FAQs

It’s my first time coming along, AHHH!

Coming to an event for the first time can be a scary experience, especially if you are new in town or haven’t done anything like this before. So please email me to say hello at gianina@jw3.org.uk and I will make sure you're welcomed when you arrive.

I'm not in my 20s or 30s. Can I still come?

We're glad you're interested, but this event is specifically geared towards people in their 20s and 30s!

Our Young JW3 community is all about building a safe and welcoming space, and we kindly ask that you respect this age guidance.

Do I have to dress in a particular way?

There is no one way to dress for Friday night dinners. Some have the tradition of wearing their best clothes, others like to be more casual, a few of us may be coming straight from work in whatever we put on that morning. Whatever makes you feel good!

Do I have to be a particular type of Jew to join?

Definitely not! Our Friday Nights are open to anyone who’s interested in marking the end of the week with friends, food, drink, and good conversation.

I’m [insert dietary requirements here]. Will there be food for me?

Of course! All our food is certified Kosher and vegetarian options will be available. Please email gianina@jw3.org.uk with any other dietary requirements.

This event will take place in the building.

A booking fee of £2 will be added to all orders.
