Leading US economist, Professor Lawrence H. Summers, told a sell-out audience at Alan Howard / JW3 Speaker Series, that growing inequality undermined people’s faith in politicians.
Former treasury secretary for President Clinton and director of the National Economic Council for President Obama, Lawrence H. Summers is President Emeritus at Harvard University. Summers used his speech to point out that President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Xi Jinping of China had higher opinion poll ratings than the US congress and British Parliament.
