Kops authored numerous plays, novels, and poetry collections, including The Odyssey of Samuel Glass and This Room in the Sunlight. His work often blended humour, pathos, and social commentary, reflecting his deep empathy for marginalized communities. A key figure in post-war British literature, Kops remained a vital voice for over seven decades, celebrated for his lyrical storytelling and humanity.
