An evening of live music and performance with West End actors to celebrate the works of award-winning lyricist Don Black CBE.

Guests will include Brady Isaacs Pearce (Cable Street - Southwark Playhouse), Jos Slovic (Beautiful - West End), Debbie Chazen and Jack Reitman (Assassins - Pleasance).*

We will also hear from some of Don's Collaborators including playwright Christopher Hampton and Composer Debbie Wiseman.

Lovingly created by producer Neil Marcus and director Adam Lenson (Cable Street, Southwark Playhouse) with musical director Theo Jamieson (Everybody's Talking About Jamie).

Don Black is an acclaimed British lyricist known for his contributions to film, stage, and popular music. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and song plugger before gaining prominence as a lyricist. Black is celebrated for his collaborations with composer John Barry on iconic James Bond themes, including Thunderball and Diamonds Are Forever.

He also wrote for musicals like Sunset Boulevard and Aspects of Love with Andrew Lloyd Webber. A recipient of an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and multiple Ivor Novello Awards, Black's evocative lyrics have left a lasting legacy.
