The ever-popular JMI Youth Big Band return to JW3, performing alongside the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Under 18s Ensemble in a dynamic double-header.
Two incendiary young groups combine to deliver a powerful punch of Big Band and Jewish music for the festive season.
The JMI Youth Big Band is radical Jewish music for the next generation, led by inspirational Musical Director Sam Eastmond (Spike Orchestra, John Zorn), composer of the Ivor Novello nominated Brit-ish suite (commissioned by the PRS Foundation and JW3 in 2019 for the New Music Biennial festival).
The NYJO Under 18s Ensemble, led by Winston Clifford, is a group of young musicians who come together to learn, play, and celebrate Jazz music in all its forms.
