A year on and the world is still reeling from the massacres of 7th October.
David Hirsh and Rosa Freedman have edited a three-volume set of books with diverse intellectual responses to the Hamas-organised day of murder, sexual violence and kidnapping. Come and hear how they feel now; how the year has been for those around them and the effects of the rise in antisemitism.
David Hirsch is senior lecturer in Sociology at Goldsmiths, a Jew, a lifelong anti-racist, an expert on antisemitism, author of Contemporary Left Antisemitism, and an advisory editor of the journal.
Rosa Freedman is a professor of law, conflict, and global development at the University of Reading.
