Yehuda Nahari Halevi is an actor, best known for his roles in Incitement (2019), Tyrant (2014) and Snails in the Rain (2013). In Incitement, Nahari steps into the shoes of Yigal Amir, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassin, a role that got him a nomination for best actor in the 2019 Ophir Awards.
Incitement is a thriller which follows the year leading to the 1995 assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, from the perspective of the assassin. Director Yaron Zilberman delivers a us some insight into the religious and political motivations, the personal and the societal turmoil. It is a psychological portrait of a political assassin seeking to kill democracy. It is also a portrait of a torn society on the brink of civil war.
