Past Continuous follows a comic-tragic journey through the history of the LGBTQI+ struggle for rights and recognition through the two unique, funny and honest characters, Ilan Buchman and Oscar Shub.
The making of the film followed their same sex marriage after their then relationship of 47 years (now 53 years), which took place at the Emanuel Synagogue, Sydney. It was the first same sex marriage under the legislation in any religious institution in Australia.
The film had its Australian premiere at the Mardi Gras Film Festival in Sydney, and due to popular demand has been followed by numerous screenings in Australia and around the world.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with Ilan and Oscar.
