Join Anita Haviv-Horiner as she discusses her recently published book Nothing New In Europe? which focuses on antisemitism through interviews with fifteen Israeli Jews living in different European countries.

Anita reflects on issues such as the influence of family history on their perceptions, the narrow divide between legitimate criticism of Israel and antisemitism, as well as on the relationship between hatred of Jews and the persecution of other minorities. It will also underline the importance of the diversity of voices in the educational work about antisemitism.

Anita Haviv-Horiner is an Israeli lecturer, author and educational consultant dealing with topics including antisemitism, Israel, the intergenerational impact of the Holocaust, Jewish and Israeli identity. She was born in Vienna to survivors of the Holocaust and emigrated to Israel in 1979. Over many years she has acquired expertise in communicating Israeli realities in all their complexity to international audiences, by cooperating with education institutions, universities, civil society organizations and Holocaust memorials.
