We are honoured to bring you an evening with David Grossman, Israeli author and one of the world's best loved writers, whose previous award-winning books have included Duel, To The End of the Land and Someone To Run With

David will be marking the publication of his latest novel, More Than I Love My Life; a remarkable novel of suffering, love, and healing, telling the story of  three generations of women and a secret that needs to be uncovered. Live from Israel, David will speak about the book that was inspired by the true story of one of his longtime confidantes, a woman who, in the early 1950s, was held on the notorious Goli Otok (“the Adriatic Alcatraz”).

There will be the option to pre-order a copy of the book from our partners at West End Lane Books at the checkout for the special price of £16 (normally £18.99). Please ensure the consent box is ticked to enable us to pass on address details.

Chairing this event is the wonderful Philippe Sands. Professor of Law at University College London, Philippe is a practising barrister at Matrix Chambers, frequently appearing before international courts, including the International Criminal Court and the World Court in The Hague. He is the author of the Sunday Times bestselling East West Street, which won multiple awards including the 2017 Jewish Quarterly Wingate Prize and the 2016 Baillie Gifford Prize and The Ratline, which was published in 2020.
