We're delighted to welcome back prominent Israeli TV journalist Itai Anghel who will talk about his Emmy-nominated documentary, Last Stop Before Kyiv.
This eye-opening film was created for the Israeli investigative journalism TV show ‘Uvda’ and covers the battle zones on the outskirts of Kyiv.
Itai Anghel is one of the most prominent TV journalists in Israel. He is a staff reporter for Uvda, a television news program on Channel 12. He mainly covers conflict zones all over the world. Frontline reporting has taken him to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Rwanda, Congo, Chechnya, Haiti, Lebanon, Kurdistan, Egypt and Gaza.
In 2017 Anghel was awarded the 'Sokolov Award' which is Israel's highest award for journalism. He is known for his unique fieldwork, in-depth documentaries and talent in telling emphatic stories of individuals and their local communities.
