Join this workshop for all ages, leading you through gentle movement improvisations and simple exercises.

The workshop will be facilitated by Yael Flexer, drawing inspiration from their production, Imagining Otherwise.

The class will focus on developing an awareness of our anatomy, cultivating a connection to our bodies and each other using imagery and playful exploration. Starting with personal movement exploration improvisation, and developing into work in duets and groups.

The second section of the workshop leads participants through a simple set exercises followed by playful improvisational and compositional scores.

This workshop is accessible to adults of all ages, without or with dance experience. Yael will be around following the workshop for further conversations about the workshop and/or show for any interested participants.
