Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend half-term with the whole family? Come and volunteer with us as we cook up a storm for our foodbank—this time with a special Jamaican twist!

You’ll be helping prepare fresh, home-cooked meals for those in need, while learning how to make some delicious Caribbean classics.

On the Menu

  • Rice & Peas
  • Jerk Jackfruit
  • Fried Plantain
  • Slaw with Grilled Pineapple Salsa
  • Jamaican Patties

This activity is perfect for children and teens ages 8-16, however they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There are three sessions throughout the day to choose from, and a £5 fee per person (including parents & guardians) to help us cover the cost of ingredients. 

Session Times

  • 10.30am – 12noon
  • 12.30pm – 2pm
  • 3pm - 5pm

As foodbank demand continues to rise, we are also very grateful for donations of non-perishable, vegetarian-friendly items.
