Gene Kelly was born in Pittsburgh and wanted to become an athlete but fell into dance and moved from Broadway to Hollywood, starring in such classic films as Anchors Aweigh, An American In Paris and Singing In the Rain. Let’s look at his life and enjoy some terrific dance routines.
George McGhee has worked in the media for over 35 years, latterly at the BBC where he was responsible for all feature films and non-UK TV series. He is also a popular lecturer on major cruise ships.
