Using your hands, your voice & instruments including xylophones, join the “FX Crew” to create sound FX to scenes from My Neighbour Totoro and Yuri Norstein’s heart-warming Hedgehog in the Fog, inspiration for Studio Ghibli’s director, Hayao Miyazaki and rated one of the best animations of all time.
You’ll become the sound of an owl, a snail, tree-frogs, cicadas, the strange purring rumble of Totoro’s “cat bus” or even a tree-ghost created using 6ft bamboo canes. Meanwhile, others will work with multi-instrumentalist Gareth Wilkins to create an atmospheric xylophone score for scenes including the hedgehog descending into the fog.
