This course helps you to develop your own distinctive writing voice and explore a structure to bring to life the faces and places that populate your world. With the use of your own photographs, memories and musings, start to build up a collection of life writing pieces.
Week One: Finding your Voice
Week Two: Creating a structure to house your memories
Week Three: Writing inspired by faces (using your own photos)
Week Four: Writing inspired by places (using your own photos)
Pam Cohen completed an MA in Creative Writing with distinction at The Open University where she specialised in creative non-fiction. She was a print and television journalist in South Africa, working for a women’s magazine, a national Sunday newspaper and British television, before coming to London. She has a passion for facilitating others to tap into their own creativity and discover the joy of expressing themselves on the page.
