Discover the secret history of chocolate whilst learning to make your own delicious creations.
In this workshop, storyteller Vanessa Woolf will introduce you to a new book, ‘The Chocolate King’. Learn about a 17th century story of migration as a family flees the Spanish Inquisition with nothing but the clothes on their backs and as many cocoa beans as they can carry.
She will be joined by top chef, David Mendes, who will be leading a hands-on chocolate workshop where you can create your own chocolate medallions and slabs.
In association with PJ Library.
Please note that while the chocolate used in this workshop is made with kosher ingredients, it is not under kosher supervision.
NB: Only children require tickets to this session. Adults do not need to book.
