In response to headlines in the past week and the events in the United States following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, JW3 and JCORE (Jewish Council for Racial Equality) will be hosting a virtual panel exploring how the British Jewish community can combat racism and why this conversation is necessary in the UK.
We will spotlight the voices and experiences of Black people in the Jewish community, in the UK and the USA, and will be joined by April Baskin (Racial Justice Director, Jewish Social Justice Roundtable), David Lammy MP for Tottenham, Journalist Nadine Batchelor-Hunt, Sir Simon Woolley (Founder and Director of Operation Black Vote) and Dr Edie Friedman (Founder and Director of JCORE).
