Join us for a special opportunity to hear international leaders in LGBTQ+ inclusion in the Orthodox community share their learnings from years working in the field.

In the past few years, LGBTQ+ inclusion in Orthodox Jewish communities has improved significantly in the UK, in huge part due to the publication of ‘The Wellbeing of LGBT+ Pupils - A Guide for Orthodox Jewish Schools’ published by the Office of the Chief Rabbi in 2018, along with the ongoing work of KeshetUK.

Our panellists will share from their own projects and personal experiences and focus on what the future of LGBTQ+ inclusion could look like in Orthodox communities and ask how we can move beyond acceptance.

We will be joined by Rabbi Steve Greenberg, Founding Director of Eshel, Rabbi Mike Moskowitz, Scholar-in-Residence for Trans and Queer Jewish Studies at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, Alma Reisel, social worker, family therapy trainee and former vice-chair of KeshetUK and Jude Rose, Queer space taker and ex Chabad Rebbetzen. Our panel will be chaired by JW3 Programmer Jacqueline Nicholls, a visual artist and educator.
