Join New York’s Park Avenue Synagogue rabbi, R.Elliot Cosgrove, author of For Such a Time as This: On Being Jewish Today, for a thought-provoking conversation with Rabbi Miriam Berger, Founding Director of Wellspring.

Rabbi Cosgrove has earned his reputation as one of American Jewry’s leading voices. In the aftermath of October 7, 2023, a day that marked a turning point for the Jewish community worldwide, he reflects on the rise of antisemitism and the enduring strength of Jewish identity. Drawing on a rich trove of Jewish history and tradition, he has written an essential guide to help make sense of this fraught moment, what it means to be Jewish today and the challenging questions embedded in the soul of contemporary Jewry.

Through warmth and insight, For Such a Time as This highlights the profound connection to community, culture, and faith that sustains Jewish life, even in challenging times.

This intimate evening, hosted by JW3, the Board of Deputies, and JLC, promises to be an inspiring exploration of what it means to be Jewish today. It will be hugely relevant to all those involved in Jewish education, leadership, community building, or Israel-Diaspora endeavours.

We are offering this as a free event, and we encourage you to make a donation during checkout to help us cover some of the costs.

We encourage you to purchase For Such a Time as This in advance and bring it along to have it signed if you wish. You can find it at Amazon HERE or Waterstones HERE.
