In partnership with the Embassy of Israel, we will be hosting a delegation of families of seven people taken hostage on October 7, who are still in captivity.

The evening will include a panel-style Q&A during which the family members will share their stories.

This is a free event, however registration is required.

Tal Haimi

Relative: Ella Haimi (partner), Lotan Haimi (son) and Or Tal Haimi (cousin)

Tal (41) was a pillar of his community and was the first to lend a hand and to encourage others.

On October 7th, he went out to defend his kibbutz, Nir Itzhak, as part of the first responders emergency team, after telling his pregnant wife to go to the safe room with their children - 9-year-old twins and a six-year-old.

He died fighting to defend and protect his kibbutz and his community. His body was taken to Gaza. While terrorists did reach some of the homes in Nir Yitzhak, they never reached his home that day.

Tamir Nimrodi

Relative: Herut Nimrodi (mother)

Tamir (19) is kind and sensitive and always eager to help others – he is an educator at heart and made it his goal to help others, and in particular helped lone soldiers who don’t have family in Israel.

Tamir, a soldier serving in COGAT’s Coordination and Liaison Administration to the Gaza Strip, helping to facilitate aid, was taken hostage from his base near the Erez Crossing on October 7th.

In a video, Tamir and two of his friends were walked by the Hamas terrorists in their shorts and t-shirts to the gate of the base. When Tamir’s family saw the video, they noticed he didn’t have his glasses; without them, he can’t see well. His two friends were found murdered in a Hamas tunnel.

Guy Gilboa Dalal

Relative: Ilan Dalal (father) and Merav Dalal Gilboa (mother)

Guy (23) is a very sociable person, always surrounded by his friends, and enjoys playing and watching football. He loves Japanese culture and even taught himself to speak Japanese. He was planning to go to Japan in April this year.

Guy was at the Nova festival with his older brother Gal. When Hamas terrorists attacked, they split up. Gal was rescued by security forces, but Guy was kidnapped by the Hamas terrorists.

Last month, a rescued hostage who was held with Guy in Gaza gave the Dalals hope as it was the first sign of life from Guy since October 7th.

Yarden Bibas, Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas and Kfir Bibas

Relative: Yair Keshet (Yarden’s uncle)

The Bibas family - Yarden (35), Shiri (33), Ariel (4) and Kfir (1) - were all abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz, and Kfir was the youngest hostage taken on October 7th at just 9 months old. Shiri’s parents were found murdered in the same kibbutz.

In January 2024, a released hostage revealed that she was with Yarden when Hamas terrorists told him his wife and two young children had been killed (which wasn’t officially confirmed) and ordered him to film a video in which he blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for refusing to return their bodies to Israel.
