JW3 celebrates the 25th anniversary of a pioneer of cross-communal understanding, right on our doorstep in West Hampstead.
JW3 and Hampstead Synagogue invite the whole community to celebrate Rabbi Dr Michael Harris’s 25 years as rabbi of Hampstead Synagogue by learning with some of Modern Orthodoxy's greatest educators. 25 outstanding teachers of Torah, including rabbis, academics and educators from the UK, Israel and North America share some of their knowledge with us across a wide range of fascinating topics. Everyone is welcome.
Rabbi Dr Michael Harris joined Hampstead Synagogue in 1995. He has long been a proponent of intra-faith relations and a champion and friend to JW3. He has lead the way for orthodox clergy to participate in cross-communal education, as well as developing the ideas and practice behind modern orthodoxy in the UK, teaching at Cambridge University and publishing books on philosophy and ethics to critical acclaim.
