The London Initiative is a fast-growing network of 360 accomplished individuals from Israel, world Jewry and other outstanding international change-makers co-founded by Sir Mick Davis and Mike Prashker. All network members share a deep commitment to advancing the State of Israel as envisaged in the Declaration of Independence. All aspire to strengthen Israeli democracy, advance a fairer shared future for all citizens of Israel, revive hope in the prospects of achieving secure peace, and improve relations between all Israelis and world Jewry.

Sir Mick Davis
Sir Mick Davis is a former chief executive of the UK Conservative Party, a former chairman of the UK Jewish Leadership Council and UJIA, and an international businessman and philanthropist.
Pnina Pfeuffer
Pnina Pfeuffer is a haredi feminist and human rights activist. CEO of Yad Levi Eshkol, Pnina founded “The New Haredim”, a grassroots network of over 70 Haredi community organizers, activists, and leaders, to strengthen democratic and progressive values.
Mike Prashker
Mike Prashker was founding director of Merchavim, The Institute for the Advancement of Shared Citizenship in Israel. Author of “A Place for Us All – Social Cohesion and the Future of Israel (2017), he advised The Ted Arison Family Foundation before moving on to lead the London Initiative.
Shahira Shalaby
Shahira Shalaby is the Co-Executive Director of The Abraham Initiatives, a joint Jewish-Israeli and Palestinian-Israeli organization that promotes social inclusion and equal rights for Palestinian citizens of Israel. She previously served as Deputy Mayor of Haifa and as a city councilor. Shahira has spearheaded several initiatives aimed at improving the status of Arab women and advancing the social rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel.
Dr. Jeffrey R. Solomon
Dr. Jeffrey R. Solomon is Senior Advisor to Chasbro Investments, the family office of Charles Bronfman. For two decades, he was the President of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies, a group of foundations operating in Canada, Israel and the United States. He is the author of over 150 academic publications.
Hanna Veiler
Hanna Veiler is President of the German Union of Jewish Students, vice-president of the European Union of Jewish Students, a trainer in the ADL Words to Action program, Lauder Fellow at WJC and works as a political educator and publicist.
Professor Dov Waxman
Professor Dov Waxman is the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation Professor of Israel Studies at UCLA and author of four books: The Pursuit of Peace and The Crisis of Israeli Identity: Defending / Defining the Nation (2006), Israel’s Palestinians: The Conflict Within (2011), Trouble in the Tribe: The American Jewish Conflict over Israel (2016), and, The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: What Everyone Needs to Know (2019).
