Legendary actor, dancer and choreographer Lionel Blair will dive deep into his illustrious career, which has spanned over 75 years - and still going strong!
Born in 1928, Blair came to the UK at 2 years old .Although he has become very well-known through his varied roles on television, he is by trade a professional dancer, first performing with his sister in the Manor House Underground station air raid shelters and on the trains of the Piccadilly line during the air raids of the Second World War.
Blair came to the fore in the 1960s when, with his dance troupe, he appeared on television variety programmes and several films, including The Beatles’ ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. He later continued to have an incredibly rich and varied career – on stage, on the big screen and in television.
