Please join us for the first Young JW3 Friday Night Dinner of the new year, where we will come together as a community to partake in Jami Mental Health Shabbat 2025.
We all have mental health and it is just as important as our physical health. Starting a conversation about mental health is an excellent way to challenge the stigma and get people thinking and talking about their perceptions of mental health and mental illness. During our Shabbat dinner we will have the opportunity for introspection, sharing insights and learning about Jami's impactful work to enrich and save lives impacted by mental illness in the Jewish community.
Timings:
6:00pm - Doors open and welcome drinks
6:30pm - Shabbat dinner*
10:00pm - Carriages

Coming to an event for the first time can be a scary experience, especially if you are new in town or haven’t done anything like this before. So please email me to say hello at gianina@jw3.org.uk and I will make sure you're welcomed when you arrive.
I'm not in my 20s or 30s. Can I still come?

Do I have to dress in a particular way?
There is no one way to dress for Friday night dinners. Some have the tradition of wearing their best clothes, others like to be more casual, a few of us may be coming straight from work in whatever we put on that morning. Whatever makes you feel good!
Do I have to be a particular type of Jew to join?
Definitely not! Our Friday Nights are open to anyone who’s interested in marking the end of the week with friends, food, drink, and good conversation.
I’m [insert dietary requirements here]. Will there be food for me?
Of course! All our food is certified Kosher and vegetarian options will be available. Please email gianina@jw3.org.uk with any other dietary requirements.
