Shamir, BeDarko reveals for the first time the extraordinary life of Yitzhak Shamir, a ground-breaking leader who has impacted the entire Middle East for decades.
The film explores significant milestones in Shamir's life, including as head of the LEHI underground organization which fought the British Mandate; head of an elite and secret unite in the MOSSAD – Israel Secret Intelligence Service; his tenure as a member of the Knesset, Speaker of the Knesset, Minister of Foreign Affairs, before eventually serving as Israel's 7th Prime Minister before and during the Gulf War.
After the screening, we will be joined by a guest panel including Herzl Makov, CEO of the Menachem Begin Heritage Centre, and was Chief of Staff to Yitzchak Shamir who will share insights and stories.
