About the Speakers■
Harris Bor
Harris Bor is a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the London School of Jewish Studies and a barrister (trial advocate) specializing in international arbitration and commercial litigation. He holds a PhD in Theology from Cambridge University and recently obtained semicha with the Montefiore Endowment. He is the author of Staying Human: Jewish Theology in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.
Miriam Feldmann Kaye
Miriam Feldmann Kaye is a lecturer in Jewish Philosophy at Bar Ilan University, and Associate Professor at Jewish Theological Seminary, New York. Her publications include her book Jewish Theology for a Postmodern Age, published by Liverpool University Press in association with the Littman Library of Jewish Civilization, in 2019. Miriam will join us online from Israel.
Rabbi Jeremy Gordon
Rabbi Jeremy Gordon is Rabbi of New London Synagogue. He has a first class honours degree in Law from Cambridge and, following five years working for the BBC and other television companies decided to train for the Rabbinate. He studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, where he volunteered with the Red Cross at Ground Zero on ‘9/11.’ His latest book is An Angel Called Truth.
Rabbi Francis Nataf
Rabbi Francis Nataf is a Jerusalem based thinker, writer, and educator. He is the author of the Redeeming Relevance in the Torah series and of many articles on religious thought, biblical studies, and current events and is Associate Editor of the Jewish Bible Quarterly. He is known for his independent thought and creativity that simultaneously puts him to the right and to the left of everyone he knows. He will join us online from Israel.
Jane Liddell-King
Jane Liddell-King read English at Girton College, Cambridge. She is a poet. Her prize-winning work has been published in Britain, Germany, and the United States. She has given readings of her work at numerous events. Previously, she collaborated with artist Nancy Tingey on an exhibition entitled, The Golden Calf which was shown in both Britain and Australia. She is the author of three plays and numerous articles and reviews.
