Jonathan Nosan is a Contortionist, Ceramic Artist and more.

DIRT is a Performance Lecture in defence of GOD; in re/defining GOD; and in designing, refining, and creating places and spaces for GOD.

In lieu of a lectern on an otherwise empty stage is the potter’s wheel.

The Five Books of DIRT:

1. GOD (origin)
2. The NUMEN (meeting GOD)
3. DESIGN (of religion and place)
4. DESTRUCTION (conflict)
5. RETURN (revelation)

This event is part of Tsitsit, the Jewish Fringe Festival.

“Jonathan Nosan is an unbelievably supple contortionist, flicking his legs over his head like a human scorpion in an act that feels more related to German expressionist cinema than Cirque Du Soleil.” The Evening Standard

“Jonathan Nosan can bend it better than Beckham, tucking his legs over his head as if his spine was made of rubber and scuttling about like a human arachnid.” The Telegraph
