March-ing towards the end of, well, erm, March, we welcome the return of our cracking comedy club. 

Come and have fun with some of the best comedians from the UK stand-up comedy circuit in the forms of Ben van Der Velde, Andrew Bird, Louise Atkinson and headlined by comedy whirlwind John Robertson! 

Ben Van der Velde

Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter. Over the past few years, has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway. 

Outside the circuit, Ben has performed a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, and walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council.

Andrew Bird 

Andrew is a top headline act up and down the country and has performed all round the world. He has been tour support for Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon and on his recent arena tour Michael McIntyre including Wembley and the O2. He’s one of only seven comedians to perform for Banksy at Dismal Land. He’s written on TV shows Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Lee Mack’s Duck Quacks Don’t Echo and is a regular guest on BBC Radio’s The Rhod Gilbert Show.

Louise Atkinson 

Tour support for Catherine Bohart and Sarah Keyworth, Louise has quickly established herself on the comedy scene as one of the ones to watch for the future. 

Louise ‘can certainly breathe life into any story’ (Steve Bennett – Chortle), is very engaging to watch and has a “A strong flavour of Victoria Wood” (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard) 

John Robertson 

One of the most unique comedians on the circuit. John is dark, edgy, hilarious and unforgettable. 

A human hurricane, John has headlined festivals, theatres and comedy clubs around the world, where he arrives, plays with the crowd like nobody else can, then leaves. He’s also written 13 different solo shows, created custom work for private bookings, performed at 11 Edinburgh Fringes, and since 2020 his online shows have raised over £100,000 for charities including NHS, Samaritans, Shelter, Mermaids, End The Virus Of Racism, Special Effect and The Trussell Trust.
