Following three years of research, British artist Piers Secunda will present evidence for the first time, of a German WWII execution wall on Alderney, the British Channel Island.
Alderney was the site of the only German Concentration camp on British soil, making this an especially captivating presentation. Piers' research has been conducted with the help of forensics specialists in the UK and US, including ballistics experts from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, who are amongst the most internationally respected in their field.
Piers Secunda studied painting at Chelsea Art College in London in the 1990s and has exhibited internationally since then. For the last 13 years, Piers' work has examined the destruction of culture, with a focus on the Taliban and ISIS. His work is on permanent display in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
