Join internationally renowned storyteller and educator Robbie Gringras, for a timely conversation about Israel and a night of disagreement, argument, and discussion across divides.
Do you love a good quarrel? Or does broigus make you uncomfortable? Do you relish a debate about Israel? Or do you have opinions but are too afraid to share? If “yes” is the answer to any of these questions, then this evening of interactive storytelling and argument “for the sake of Heaven” is for you!
Reading from his new book, “Stories for the Sake of Argument” (co-authored with Abi Dauber Sterne), Gringras will invite you to respond to stories that set up a powerful clash of values and provoke debate around the key issues facing Israel and the Jewish world. Discussions will be facilitated by experienced educators and community professionals.
Inspired by the belief that when we harness the power of healthy argument, we build resilience and readiness to live together in our differences, this event offers a fresh and invigorating approach to engaging with Israel, ourselves, and each other.
The evening will begin and end with a ceremony honouring the legacy of Yitzhak Rabin, the Israeli Prime Minister and peace ambassador, and marking the 27th anniversary of his assassination.
Robbie's book Stories for the Sake of Argument is available to purchase with your ticket and can be collected from Box Office on the night of the event.
