A subversive love story between clashing cultures and families, Kiss Me Kosher is a romantic misadventure crossing all borders.
Kiss Me Kosher■
Synopsis
Having been together for a whole three months and still madly in love, Israeli Shira and her German girlfriend Maria decide to get married. The fact that they are two women is a non-issue, but with a settler father, a Holocaust survivor grandmother (who is secretly in love with a Palestinian doctor) and a Nazi family history between them, almost everything else certainly is. Shot entirely in Israel, Kiss Me Kosher (Kiss Me Before It Blows Up) is a delightful comedy about crazy families and even crazier love stories.
Spoiler alert: this film has a very happy – and wildly romantic – ending.
