This year as part of National Hate Crime Awareness week, JW3, René Cassin and the Anglo Jewish Association host an event on how to engage, reflect and take the lead against discrimination.
In a frank panel conversation between the daughter of holocaust survivors, Noemie Lopian, and the grandson of an SS officer, Derek Niemann, we grapple with the legacies of complicity, hatred and prejudice in both past and present society.
In dialogue with them will be a Traveller activist and a young leader in the community, reflecting on these legacies and exploring how we can take the lead and work together in coalition against hatred and discrimination.
Chairing this discussion will be Michael Newman OBE. In partnership with Rene Cassin and AJA (Anglo Jewish Association).
