We invite you to join us at 9.30am on Sunday 2 April as Little Amal returns to London for a festival of welcome, celebration and friendship.
As Easter, Passover and Ramadan coincide, Amal leads an interfaith celebration as the London Borough of Camden becomes a ‘Borough of Sanctuary’.
Start the morning by making your very own paper locust, before helping teach Little Amal the story of Pesach (Passover) through music, song and storytelling, with some surprises along the way.
Little Amal is the 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child at the heart of The Walk. Over the last year she has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees.
Since July 2021, Amal has travelled over 9,000km and been welcomed by more than a million people on the street, including hundreds of artists and civil society and faith leaders, as well as by tens of millions online.
Produced by The Walk Productions, JW3 and London Borough of Camden. Directed by Amy Hodge with music from the Great Yiddish Parade.
